Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Photography and Videography Expert to capture and document our upcoming General Assembly event. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in visually representing our event, which brings together a diverse group of professionals, thought leaders, and experts. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity.

Scope of work:

1. Capture High-Quality Photographs during the event, ensuring exceptional image quality and composition.
2. Capture and provide real time photos to promote the event on social media pages.
3. Record videos that cover various aspects of the General Assembly, including key sessions, panel discussions, presentations, interviews, event highlights and behind-the-scenes footage.
4. Record short recap videos for each day of the assembly for social media use.
5. Edit and post-process photos and videos to enhance quality, visual appeal and professional standards.
6. Convey the event's story and atmosphere through compelling visuals, capturing important key moments and interactions.
7. Ensure all photography and videography equipment is in working order and prepared for the event.
8. Provide edited photos and videos promptly to meet post-event publication and distribution deadlines.
9. Collaborate effectively with the event team to ensure the coverage of all important aspects of the event while providing creative input and ideas.
10. Address any unexpected production challenges that may arise during the event.

Qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience in event photography and videography.
• Proficiency with professional camera equipment, video recording devices and editing software.
• Creativity and compelling visual storytelling skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and able to work independently or part of a team.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating photography and videography skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to dynamic event environments

Remuneration: Euro 700 – 1000

Reporting:

The Photography and Videography expert will report directly to the project coordinator and creative lead and work closely with other team members, providing regular updates on the progress of photography and videography  activities and deliverables.
