Defko Ak Ñep fablab aims to be a sort of laboratory, a place for sharing and researching among “hackers”, computer scientists, artisans, artists, designers and the general public around the production of practical items that will improve the daily lives of Senegalese. DefkoAkniep’s main vocation is to popularize technologies through the spirit of Makers (DIY and DIT) “doing it yourself” and “doing it with all the others” which is reflected in several practical training workshops and familiarization with the FabLab machines.
